Oh WOW, what an event!
On Friday the 28th November, I was kindly invited to attend an incredible black-tie event. It was the Eventia Awards 2022. The Eventia Awards honours outstanding business-to-business and business-to-consumer events overseas and in the UK.
The event was held at the Hilton, Park Lane. The venue was without a doubt grand, with a unique blend of English style and modern design.
The food was delicious and elegantly plated. I had Waldorf Style Salad with Grape Jelly, Potato & Truffle Ravioli with Wild Mushroom Sauce and Passion fruit Souffle’, Warm Raspberry Coulis and Vanilla Ice Cream.
The presenter was outstanding. Ed Byrne, renowned observational comedian, had us all in stitches.
The actual award ceremony was impressive. They had a variety of categories from Agency of the Year to Award for Innovation, from Brand Experience to Celebratory Event, from Hospitality Experience to Product Launch, to mention a few. TRO did particularly well, winning 7 awards!!
The entertainment was great. Hip Hop dancers, bboxing, singers Jack Pack, DJ, saxophonist and more.
They had a silent auction with incredible prizes and also a raffle draw. The raffles’s main prize was a cruise for 4 people and the money raised from the raffle tickets was donated to the organisers chosen charity ‘The Children’s Air Ambulance’ but unfortunately I didn’t win!
It was lovely to meet so many great, funny, entertaining and caring people. And not just at the table, but people made a true effort to make me feel included and welcomed throughout the night.
Loved the music and couldn’t resist dancing the night away.
